A custom booking platform for a dog walking service in Croyde
Canine Compadre is a dog walking service based in Croyde, North Devon. I built a custom booking platform from scratch - real-time availability, automated confirmations, and full admin dashboard for the owner.
The challenge
What needed solving
Alex was managing bookings manually via phone and WhatsApp - time consuming, error prone, and difficult to scale as the business grew.
The solution
How I solved it
A custom Django booking system integrated with Google Calendar - clients can book online, availability updates in real time, automated confirmation emails go out via SendGrid, and Alex has a full dashboard to manage everything.
